Letting Go of FearRead Now
It is so easy for us to allow our fears to hold us back. I am recently guilty of doing this. I know I need to step out of my comfort zone to grow my business and share my message, but I keep thinking about all the things that could go wrong and how people will judge me. I know I write frequently about overcoming this and how it is wonderful, but I am only human and it still happens to me sometimes.
I have been working to overcome this and it is taking me longer than I really anticipated. I started reading my tarot cards again and am getting back on track with my meditation. Doing this is going to be essential in my overcoming my fear. Getting out of our own heads and our own boxes is difficult but the great things that will come once I get over this hump will be so worth it.
I don’t know if there is really one great way to let go of fear. You really have to do some searching to find out why you are afraid and how it is holding you back. This is an extremely personal process so meditate, journal, talk with people you trust, do some research if necessary. Once you pinpoint the why figuring out how to let go of that fear is one step closer.
As I said above, it is not so easy to let go of the fear. It took me about a month to admit to myself that I was even letting fear hold me back. Once I did that I had to do some deep searching and honestly just had an epiphany one day when I was reading something on Instagram. I finally realized that I was allowing these exterior things affect how I was thinking about myself. It has been so long since I let other people affect my life but I allowed it to creep back in.
Now that I know and I have worked through most of the reasons I am afraid I am close to being able to get out of my box. I know this gray area is going to be scary for a little bit, but I also know that it will be amazing. I know that whatever happens from this moment will be worth it!
