It has been awhile since I’ve shared my story. I started my blog PeaceLoveandBubbly about 2 years ago. I had moved back to Denver with my husband and was working at a job I despised (I won’t say where). I decided to quit my job and put my sanity first. While I was applying for jobs (about 100+ applications into the search) I decided to start my blog.
I had no idea how to start a blog, create a website, update a website, or build a following on social media. These were all things I had to teach myself (and still am). It was terrifying to think about my images and words being on the internet for anyone to read. No matter how much self-love and confidence we have, we are all still afraid of being judged, but I went ahead and took the leap. It has been an interesting adventure. Some days I really want to give up and just take it all down, but I am constantly reminding myself WHY I am here sharing my words and dreams and all the things that terrify me with all of you. It is hard work, frustrating, scary as hell, but most of all rewarding. It has taken me almost the full two years to figure out what I wanted this to be. I have always had dreams of being the CEO of my own company. It wasn’t until the beginning of this year (yes, 2018) for me to finally get my brain wrapped around the idea that this is MY business. Changing the way we think about things does not always come easily. I have many things in the works currently and will be making some changes and updates to my blog soon. I am excited to finally have a path and concept of what I want this to be for all of you (and me). I have a vision and goals of what I want this to become and I’m working to make it happen. So, thank you to all of you who read and follow me. Those of you who enjoy my message and my Instagram content. Thank you for hanging on during this wild ride. I cannot wait to share what is to come. Sometimes you just take a leap and learn as you go along.
